Peter & Val Gilmour sign Master Franchise Agreement with RE/MAX International.

2000

Dave Liniger of RE/MAX International purchases the region and conducts a speaking tour.

2004

Launch of the first RE/MAX of Southern Africa National TV Advertising Campaign.

2010

Peter & Val Gilmour together with Adrian & Vicky Goslett reacquire the master franchise rights for RE/MAX of Southern Africa.

Adrian Goslett is instated as Regional Director and CEO as of 1 January.

2015

We celebrate our 20th Anniversary by signing a transformation deal with Z Capital Properties (Pty) Ltd, a prominent black empowerment company, that purchased a 45% ownership interest in RE/MAX of Southern Africa.

Peter & Val Gilmour officially step down to make way for the new partnership.

2017

RE/MAX International rolls out a Global Brand Evolution and introduces an updated RE/MAX logo.

1995

First RE/MAX Office opens in South Africa.

2003

100^th office opens and we reach a total of 1,200 associates.

2005

Celebrated 10^th year anniversary. RE/MAX LLC updates the design of the registered trademark hot air balloon from tilted to vertical.

2012

The RE/MAX Foundation launched in September.

2016

Amanda Cuba of Z Capital is appointed as COO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa.

2020

RE/MAX SA celebrates our 25th anniversary in the region. We also reach a milestone of 2500 agents in May 2020.
