You may have recently heard about the “Real REMAX Group” and wondered what it means for REMAX Southern Africa. Very little changes for consumers in our region, but to prevent any confusion, here’s everything you need to know.
What is Real REMAX Group?
Real REMAX Group is the global holding company under which REMAX LLC and another brand operating in the United States and Canada sit. While they share the same global parent company, the two remain separate brands, with separate identities, cultures and business models. It’s important to note that the other brand does not operate in our region, nor does it intend on expanding to our region anytime soon.
Is REMAX changing in Southern Africa?
No. For consumers in the region, the REMAX brand you know remains the same with offices continuing to operate under the REMAX name, and our agents continuing to represent the REMAX brand with the red, white and blue Balloon that has been at the heart of who we are.
Why was the REMAX Holding Company bought over?
While REMAX will retain its distinct identity, the new global structure brings together the strengths, expertise and technology of both organisations, with the aim of building a stronger future for real estate professionals and creating greater value for the consumers they serve.
Choosing REMAX in Southern Africa
When you choose to work with REMAX within Southern Africa, you are still working with REMAX. If you are buying, selling, renting or letting property in Southern Africa, look for an officially affiliated REMAX office or agent and the REMAX branding you already know and recognise.
