The Lodge is situated in Kuleni Game Park, a 170ha Game Park and is the product of many years of careful thought and planning. It's a warm and friendly place, created in the wild to give a feeling of safety and togetherness with wildlife in a beautiful environment. Peace, freedom and a sense of complete solitude, woven into four habitats. Kuleni is host to warthog, giraffe, wildebeest, nyala, impala, zebra, duiker and other species - no predators - so it is a safe environment for walking and exploring. Excellent birding is reported with over 250 species being evident within the reserve. Night sounds will keep you guessing, and walking with the abundant wildlife is a rare treat, with a surprise around every corner. A neighbour to the famous Phinda Nature Reserve and The iSimangaliso Wetland Park, now a world heritage site is on your doorstep. Kuleni Game Park is very private and exclusive with its own sand forest, thorn veld, wetlands, grasslands, wildlife and rich birdlife. Within a 1/2 hours’ drive from Kuleni you can be anywhere you choose - on the beautiful beaches of Sodwana Bay or the famous Hluhluwe Umfolozi Big "5" Game Reserve. The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park (a world Heritage Site) is just 10 minutes’ drive away. 

 There are eight developed lodges within the boundaries of the Park and the park is run by an elected board of directors (owners of properties automatically become a member of the Board) supported by a well experienced and dedicated team of staff. A nine-hole golf course and restaurant borders the park. 

This Park and its lodge’s falls within the more “upmarket” sector of the leisure property market and owners are in terms of the Sectional Title Management Rules, entitled to rent-out their units.

· No licenses are required for running an accommodation establishment and these properties.

· All buildings, furniture, appliances and equipment are included in the sale. Inventory list would be made available when required.

· Transfer duty would be payable on such purchases but if bought through a company which is VAT registered, VAT would be payable but could be claimed back from SARS.

· The lodges in Kuleni has been built and developed by the owners for the own personal use but that they are renting it out when not in use by themselves. This is to cover the running cost of this establishments. The monthly levy fees (depending on the water and electricity usage as well as maintenance necessities), is between R6 000 and R8 000.
