Established in 1995, the RE/MAX Global Learning Centre has a pool of experienced Real Estate and Leadership Trainers who have trained both in Southern Africa and internationally, averaging over 15 years of training each, including:

RE/MAX University

The RE/MAX University online 24/7 training is comprised of thousands of programmes on Real Estate, Technology, Leadership, Skills Training and Business Development which are accessible to all RE/MAX membership via our RE/MAX Mainstreet Intranet site.

RE/MAX GLC Online

The RE/MAX GLC Online has a number of training videos that are locally hosted to make watching them that much quicker and easier to access within Southern Africa.

Transformation focus

RE/MAX of Southern Africa is a highly rated BBBEE organization and the RE/MAX Global Learning Centre will focus its efforts to make the Real Estate Industry available to entrepreneurs of all races and cultures. RE/MAX strongly supports transformation in the real estate industry and its current demographic of offices and agents reflects this.

Training programme

The Learning Centre will provide over 120 days of classroom training to the RE/MAX Membership every year and will continue to innovate and meet the needs of the changing Real Estate Industry in the years to come.

Recognition

Certificates of completion will be issued to all delegates attending these courses.

Industry Standard Compliance

The GLC is positioned to provide a simple, easy, integrated and streamlined process for new recruits to become a "Professional Practitioner in Real Estate" (PPRE). The GLC offers a unique, customised approach to becoming a full status agent by combining the necessary qualifications:

  • The RE/MAX SA Induction Training – The Accelerate Programme
  • The Internationally Acclaimed Brian Buffini “100 Days to Greatness” Programme
  • The EAAB Mandatory Workplace Logbook
  • The Compulsory Qualification for New Entrants, FETC: Real Estate, NQF L4

After qualifying:

The GLC uses a blend of methodologies, incorporating the latest technology and sophisticated software programmes to guide and support Interns and their Workplace Mentors through the Intern’s Compulsory Education, Internship and Compliance process.

The GLC provides for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for eligible applicants and conducts In-house Preparatory Workshops and Online Self-Assessments for the Professional Designate Exam (PDE).

The GLC provides for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to ensure all Sales Professionals maintain their industry knowledge and expertise and hence, their professional status. This provision is in line with the EAAB requirements for ongoing education and development.
