The Assisted Living Units of Willow Haven Retirement Centre is ideal for seniors who can still lead an active, social and independent life but plan for their future. Residents can buy the unit and stay independent for as long as you can, but when the time comes and you need regular assistance, the assisted living services can be procured at an additional monthly fee in the same unit. The benefit of such an option is that the resident doesn’t need to move out of their known environment, you stay in your unit. 

The assisted living units are designed for people who value their Independence but who need a helping hand with everyday living. This unit is equipped with your own kitchenette, private bathroom, spacious bedroom, open balcony and carport. Residents will be liable for the monthly levy and own electricity. Each unit is connected to the Frail Care section via a telephone system and a panic button.  

The Frail Care would render the assisted living services at an additional cost according to the resident’s needs, which will include: 

· Medication management 

· Include 3 meals per day 

· Laundry once a week

· Cleaning service of the unit once a week, as arranged 

· Nursing assistance (e.g. dressing/bath) as needed not more than 2 hrs per day 

· The assisted living unit is close to the Community Centre. 

The Community Centre consist of a dining area that offers affordable meals, an entertainment area, coffee station, library, administrative office first-level nurse that is on duty and makes sure that all residents receive the proper nursing care. Transport to the shops twice a week.
