I joined Terence as his Personal Assistant at RE/MAX Dolphin in 1999 and have worked alongside him in this capacity since then. I have a full status Fidelity Fund Certificate and have done my NQF4 qualification in Real Estate.

Other Real Estate experience, prior to this was a brief 6 months working at Seeff, Ballito shortly after it opened in 1997, as their receptionist.

I was born in Durban and raised on a dairy farm in the Karkloof in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands. I was exposed to property from an early age as my father served on the Coastal Branch of the Institute of Estate Agents in the early 1970’s and was Chairman in 1969. We also ran a successful Real Estate Agency (Christie Brothers) in conjunction with a United Building Society branch, in Howick in the 80’s & 90’s where my father and Uncle were partners.

My background is as a PA in short term insurance for a small insurance firm in Springs & later with FNB’s First Bowring insurance in Pietermartizburg. Thereafter as a total change, I worked for Estee Lauder as a sales consultant in the Durban area where I was also priviledged to learn a lot about customer care & retention.

As the backbone of our personal RE/MAX business is largely based on personal referral, keeping in touch with our clients is of utmost importance to us. I concentrate largely on the ‘after-sales’ side of our business which also involves following through with conveyancing and keeping in touch  on an on-going basis.  I also focus on marketing and lead generation.

Terence and I are a strong team as we compliment each other making up for any shortfalls between us. We share the same values, vision, philosophies & passion in our business, prioritising our clients’ needs and ensuring that they always receive personal, professional attention with the highest integrity from beginning to end – and long after!  The referrals we regularly receive are not only the highest compliment we could receive but also the backbone of our business & we have helped many local & international clients successfully invest in property in the area over the years.

Out of the office I enjoy photography, walking with our very energetic dogs, Max our staffy and Nandi our new addition (foxie cross) on the trails at Holla or on the beach, taking road trips through South Africa, running, birding, hiking, gym, reading & gardening.
