There is a swimming pool. The house is secured with burglar guards, with the main bedroom being secured with Trelli-doors and extra strong burglar guards. There are electronic beams across the garages and veranda, and motion detectors’ in the living area and in the outside storerooms. Next to the bed in the main bedroom is the security control panel as well as one switch that controls all the LED outside security lights.
The house has two large air conditioner units and all the bedrooms have overhead fans.
All the bedrooms have built-in cupboards and there is ample other storage space in the house
A little further from the house is the large workshop and shed with accommodation for two employees in separate rooms with toilets. There is also a secure storeroom in the main building
Potable water is supplied to the property by Mtuba municipality and it is stored in a 5000lt tank. The system is pressurized by a pressure pump. The tank is high enough to provide the house with water when electricity fails. There is a 65000lt underground concrete tank which stores the rainwater from the roof. This is now just used as a standby source.
The property is one of the quietest in Monzi because it does not have any busy roads nearby. The birds are the only noise one hears in the early morning or evenings.
There are several resident Red Duiker, several slender tail mongoose, a group of about 18 banded mongoose, lots of monkeys, 21 very tame crested Guinea Fowl which are fed every day and a good variety of other bird life on the property. Bushbuck which roam all over Monzi are often seen on the front lawn. A grey Duiker has also been spotted 2 or 3 times.
