Raslouw is a smallholding suburb that is situated close to all main roads leading to and from the City of Tshwane. Raslouw is also close to the Centurion CBD, and approximately 20 kilometres from Midrand. All the streets are named after farm owners who occupied the farms before they became sub-divided into smaller properties.
