Oudtshoorn

Oudtshoorn is renowned as the Ostrich Capital of the world. Although famous for its Cango Caves, this Karoo town has much more to offer. Oudtshoorn is the biggest town in the province.

It possesses a keen property market, ranging from longstanding homesteads, to modern houses, flats and even holiday homes.  There are numerous smallholdings littered on the outskirts of the town eventually leading to hundreds of hectares of farmland, chiefly occupied by ostriches – the lifeblood of the area’s existence.
