ORANJEZICHT
Oranjezicht (loosely translated as ‘Orange View’), is a name given by early Dutch Settlers who sought to honour Prince William of Orange, the then Dutch ruler. The densely populated suburb of Oranjezicht is situated immediately above the CBD, and is the main thoroughfare from the centre of Cape Town to the cableway which takes one to the top of Table Mountain. Oranjezicht lies on the slopes of Table Mountain, and is yet another old established suburb with tremendous appeal to all generations of property buyers who seek that ‘something special’ which city life offers. It too has its fair share of breathtaking panoramic views.
