OLIVEDALE
Olivedale is a suburb which falls within the Randburg Municipal boundaries, with excellent access to the N1 highway which links Johannesburg with the north. This lovely leafy suburb is located to the north of Randburg’s city centre, close to Jukskei Park and Douglasdale.
Olivedale offers mainly freestanding homes, on stands ranging from 1000 to 1500m², and over the past few years several sectional title complexes have been developed, which offer affordable homes particularly for younger families. A number of attractive retirement villages have emerged in Olivedale in recent times, in particular the very exclusive Olivewood Residential Estate.
Olivedale is primarily a middle income suburb, with Olivewood Estate offering higher income living. The suburb is well secured with numerous gated areas, and the majority of the traditionally family homes in Olivedale have been upgraded to modern dwellings. The suburb of Olivedale also has several guesthouses scattered throughout the area.
